Abstract

Prokrastinasi adalah penundaan yang sering terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk di dunia pendidikan. Mahasiswa dengan locus of control dan motivasi tinggi cenderung tidak melakukan prokrastinasi akademik. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh locus of control dan motivasi terhadap prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa Universitas Lampung. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 133 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert. Metode yang digunakan adalah probability sampling dengan teknik simple random sampling. Alat analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Locus of control berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap prokrastinasi akademik, motivasi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap prokrastinasi akademik.
