Abstract

This study examines the effects of inclusive leadership and diversity climate on employee organizational commitment at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Nias. The study responds to the need for public-service organizations to sustain employee attachment amid differences in employment status, experience, background, and work-assignment dynamics. An associative quantitative design was employed with a population of 112 employees, and a sample of 53 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed with IBM SPSS 26 through validity and reliability tests, regression diagnostic tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that inclusive leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment (B=0.375; t=3.066; p=0.003), while diversity climate also has a positive and significant effect (B=0.494; t=3.760; p<0.001). Simultaneously, both predictors significantly affect organizational commitment (F=110.274; p<0.001), with R²=0.815. These findings indicate that leader openness, opportunities for participation, fairness, and acceptance of diversity jointly strengthen employees’ sense of belonging, loyalty, and willingness to continue contributing to the organization.
