Abstract

This research aims to analyse the effect of total quality management (TQM) and the reward system on managerial performance at the PLN Persero Office, Sulselrabar Region. There are two data sources in this study, namely primary data and secondary data. This research uses a quantitative approach by analysing the relationship between variables in the study. There are two data sources in this study, namely primary data and secondary data. To obtain data that is relevant to the issues discussed, the research uses the following data collection methods, namely literature study, documentation study, interview study, observation, and other reference collection. Then the data analysis method carried out in this study is to use multiple linear regression analysis. which first tests the research instrument then proceeds to the classical assumption test which includes normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelation and heteroscedasticity tests then proceeds with hypothesis testing (partial significance test (t), simultaneous (f) and the coefficient of determination R2). The results showed that Total Quality Management has a role in managerial performance at PT PLN (Persero) Sulselrabar Region. The intended role implies that the adoption of Total Quality Management aspects that prioritise quality in management can directly support and support the achievement of managerial performance in the company. Then the reward system also contributes to managerial performance, because rewards encourage individuals or in this case human resources to be able to change the tendency of the spirit to meet personal interests to the spirit to meet organisational goals. Total Quality Management and the reward system simultaneously affect the company's managerial performance with a percentage of influence of 62.8%, while 37.2% (100%-62.8%) is explained by other causes and factors that are outside of these two variables, such as aspects of organisational culture, employee motivation, facilities and infrastructure that support other things that foster managerial performance within the company.
