Abstract
Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman hukum dagang di kalangan pengelola Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) dan Badan Usaha Milik Gampong (BUMG) di Desa/Gampong Deah Baroe, Kecamatan Meuraxa. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui metode Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan presentasi materi hukum dagang yang disampaikan oleh ahli hukum. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta terkait aspek hukum dagang, dengan 85% peserta melaporkan peningkatan pemahaman setelah mengikuti kegiatan. Kegiatan ini berhasil mengumpulkan 25 peserta, yang semuanya berpartisipasi aktif dalam diskusi. Pengabdian ini dianggap bermanfaat karena membantu pengelola BUMDes/BUMG dalam mengelola usaha secara legal dan profesional, sehingga mengurangi risiko hukum yang bisa menghambat pertumbuhan ekonomi desa. Urgensi pengabdian ini terlihat dari kebutuhan mendesak untuk memperkuat landasan hukum dalam pengelolaan BUMDes/BUMG guna mendukung kemandirian dan keberlanjutan ekonomi desa. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan sosialisasi ini berhasil mencapai tujuannya dan memberikan dampak positif bagi pengelola BUMDes/BUMG serta masyarakat desa secara keseluruhan.
